One of the most important novelties of the first day of Eurosatory 2024 was the presentation of the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 tank from KNDS. This tank represents a technological leap thanks to its revolutionary design with a tankless turret that is remotely controlled. The main weapon of the tank is the modular automatic linear loader, which allows the use of calibers from 120 to 140 mm. The innovative weapon mount ensures efficient use of space in the chassis, where the crew is housed in a highly protected capsule. In addition, the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 is equipped with active protection systems, including an anti-drone system. Its flexibility allows current versions of the Leopard 2 to be upgraded to the A-RC 3.0 standard, which is key to increasing combat effectiveness and crew protection.
